Bicalutamide
(registered as Casodex) is an anti – androgen
used as a prostate cancer hormone therapy. Bicalutamide
fits into the receptors of the nuclei of the prostate
cells and prevents the reception of testosterone. Bicalutamide
can be used to slow or to stop the growth and spread
of prostate cancer.
