Hot Flashes during Prostate Cancer Hormone Therapy

Hot flashes are the sudden feeling of heat rushing through the body. Hot flashes in men may accompany prostate cancer hormone therapy. Symptoms of a hot flash may be mild and last around half an hour with some redness of the face or a feeling of heat in the body. Symptoms may also be as severe as a heat that causes an outbreak of sweat that requires of change of clothing or sheets. These hot flashes may last several hours.
