First Line Therapy of Prostate Cancer

First line therapy refers to the first primary treatment a patient receives. Neoadjuvant therapy, as in the case of neoadjuvant hormone therapy for prostate cancer, is used before the primary therapy to enhance its effectiveness. First line therapy refers to the first major treatment which will wipe out the disease.
