Amitriptyline after Prostate Cancer


Amitriptyline is a type of tricyclic antidepressant that can be used to treat the symptoms of stress incontinence after prostate cancer treatment. Amitriptyline has sedative properties and can decrease symptoms of urinary frequency which can lead to stress incontinence. The drug works by increasing the resistance of the bladder neck muscles.
