Pubic arch evaluation
is used in determining whether a prostate cancer patient
is eligible for a certain treatment. The growth of the
two pubic bones forms the pubic arch. In certain prostate
cancer treatments, such as brachytherapy and cryotherapy,
pubic arch interference many leave the prostate gland
inadequately treated.
