Static image cytometry
is a tool use for clarifying indistinct test results
found in the flow cytometry measurement. Static image
cytometry is part of the DNA ploidy analysis which is
sometimes used for determining the grade of a prostate
cancer stage. DNA ploidy analysis is used less commonly
than the Gleason test.
