Shark cartilage
contains chemicals, which can inhibit blood vessel growth,
or angiogenesis, the process by which prostate cancer
can grow and metastasize to other parts of the body.
While the theory seems promising, no study has yet been
conducted that has shown that shark cartilage helps
patients with advanced prostate cancer.
