The Physics team
is present during prostate cancer brachytherapy for
either preplanning or the intra-operative planning stages.
The physics team is responsible for planning the pattern
of permanent brachytherapy seeds that will create the
cloud of radiation which matches the doses calculated
by the radiation oncologist.
