Hyoscyamine is
an anticholinergic agent that can be used to treat the
symptoms of urge incontinence after prostate cancer
treatment. Hyoscyamine works by causing the smooth muscles
in the neck of the bladder to relax while decreasing
spasms and contractions of the urinary bladder. Hyoscyamine
works to delay the urge to urinate after prostate cancer
treatment.
