Hospice care is
used as part of palliative care for prostate cancer
patients who are in the terminal stages of prostate
cancer. Hospice care provides staff for medical, spiritual,
psychological, and emotional support for both the patient
and his loved ones. Hospice care is dedicated to decreasing
pain and discomfort and creates an atmosphere of dignity
and peace after other prostate cancer treatments fail.
