Gunosine triphosphate after Prostate Cancer

Gunosine triphosphate is abbreviated as GTP. When GTP is broken down by an enzyme called guanylate cyclase, GTP forms cGMP or cyclic guanosine monophosphate which produces an erection. Prostate cancer treatments may result in an inability to produce and maintain an erection satisfactory for sexual intercourse, however, prostate cancer treatments are continually advancing in technique and technology that may result in fewer and less severe side effects.
