Gn (Gonadotropin)
is produced by pituitary gland in response to natural
Gonadotropin-releasing hormone produced by the hypothalamus.
Gonadotropin travels to the testicles which begin producing
testosterone. Stopping the mechanisms that produce gonadotropin
is called chemical castration because it lowers the
level testosterone 90 to 95 percent.
