Acute bacterial prostatitis
is the inflammation of the prostate gland due to bacterial
infection. Acute bacterial prostatitis symptoms develop
quickly and severely so this type of bacterial
prostatitis is the easiest to diagnose. The symptoms
of acute bacterial prostatitis may resemble some prostate
cancer symptoms. Acute bacterial prostatitis can be
treated with anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics.
