A testicular prosthesis
is a sac filled with silicone gel, similar to that which
is used in breast implants, that is inserted into the
scrotal sac after the removal of the testicles for the
purposes of prostate cancer hormone therapy. Men may
feel more comfortable around their partners or around
other men in situations such as changing or showering
in a locker room with the presence of the testicular
prosthesis.
