The pubic arch
is the bone structure in the center of the body that
is created the growing together to the two pubic bones.
In prostate cancer treatments, pubic arch interference
can disqualify some patients from receiving certain
therapies. An interfering pubic arch in brachytherapy
or cryotherapy could leave the prostate cancer inadequately
treated. Patients will undergo the pubic arch evaluation
to make sure they can receive their chosen prostate
cancer treatment.
