PDE 5 inhibitor after Prostate Cancer

PDE 5 inhibitor is the abbreviation for phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. PDE 5 inhibitor prevents normal PDE 5 from breaking down cGMP. Men can then have longer-lasting, more rigid erections. Common PDE 5 inhibitors are as sildenafil, varendafil, and tadalafil and are trademarked respectively as Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. PDE 5 inhibitors can help men who have undergone prostate cancer treatment and experience impotence as a result. PDE inhibitors, however, will not help patients unless they become sexually aroused.
