The radical laparoscopic
prostatectomy is a new version of the radical
prostatectomy which uses series of small incisions and
a laparoscope to extract the prostate gland. In laparoscopic
prostatectomy cannot perform the nerve-sparing technique
as easily as the retropubic procedure and the laparoscopic
procedure cannot dissect the lymph nodes. The recovery
time for laparoscopic prostatectomy patients is relatively
short and patients usually experience less pain and
bleeding.
