LH (Luteinizing
Hormone-releasing hormone) is produced by pituitary
gland in response to natural luteinizing hormone-releasing
hormone produced by the hypothalamus. Luteinizing hormone
travels to the testicles which begin producing testosterone.
Stopping the mechanisms that produce luteinizing hormone
is called chemical castration because it lowers the
level testosterone 90 to 95 percent.
